A Sicilian wedding identity built on two sardines

Lucrezia and Alessandro married in Marsala in August. The whole event runs on one idea, drawn by hand and carried across ten printed pieces.

Sardines are the fish of that coast, so the couple became two sardines. The name of the suite, Saidde, comes from the local word. Rooting the identity in the place gave the wedding something a generic script-and-eucalyptus template could never have.

One palette holds everything together: teal ground, periwinkle and deep blue, white hand lettering. The system had to survive a 50 by 70 entrance board and an A5 game card without losing its character, so the illustration weight and the type scale were redrawn for each format rather than resized.

The menus were set in three languages, Italian, English and French, for the international guests. The guest game carries a QR code that collects everyone's photos into one shared album, so a printed card ends up feeding a digital object.
