A cat that does not smile

Orange is my favourite colour, so the mark starts there. Acid green, hard black, and a face that refuses to be cute.

Most freelance designer marks are a monogram or a wordmark. This one is a cat with a flat stare, built from thick shapes with no gradients and no detail that breaks below 24 pixels. It works as a favicon, a sticker and a print element without redrawing.

The identity runs through my own CV and this site, and the cat turns up inside other projects too. It is on square eight of the board game.
